2020 Graduation Ceremony

UCHS 2020 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, July 17, at 8 p.m. on the Football Field. Our rain date will be Saturday, July 18 at 8p.m. Seniors will be required to attend practice at 11 a.m. on July 17 on the field. We encourage all guests to socially distance between families, we recommend that you wear a mask to protect others and yourself, and we encourage you to take advantage of the live-streaming that is offered this year through Waycross Communications. There will be a link on our website that will broadcast the ceremony into your homes. With the prediction of extreme heat, we encourage those with health concerns to take advantage of the live streaming in an air conditioned location. We will provide water, donated by The Bath State Bank, through the concession stand.

We will have socially distanced markings on the bleachers, we are offering an area for lawn chair seating should you choose that method of observation, and again, we will be live streaming the program. We are currently in Phase 4.5 of the Governor’s Back on Track Plan. For that reason, we are hosting our event outdoors allowing us to take full advantage of the limits on the number of people that may attend.

We are asking that everyone self-check for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to attending the graduation ceremony. If you show any symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone who has shown symptoms, we are asking that you please do NOT attend the ceremony in person, but rather, take advantage of the live-streaming of the ceremony in your own homes. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please join us either in person or through the live stream as we celebrate the Seniors of the Class of 2020!
