Tucker Coffman qualifies for ISHAA State Wrestling Tournament.

From Superintendent Christopher Winchell,

"Please join me as a school corporation and school family in taking great pride regarding Tucker Coffman’s accomplishment of qualifying for the IHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Tucker over the season and in particular over the last few weeks. Tucker is an extremely hard working, but also humble and kind young man. I have personally seen him take underclassmen teammates and make them feel like an integral part of the wrestling family even though they might night be up to his level of skill. What character, and what an example that all of us, and our students can learn from!

As a state qualifier he is one of only sixteen high school students to earn the right to wrestle for a State Championship in his weight class. The tournament begins this Friday evening. Qualifying for this event is a huge accomplishment in and of itself, but I can say that Tucker is not satisfied with qualifying alone. He has continued his efforts this week in the wrestling room. Everyone involved at the ground level has high hopes for his final achievements this weekend. Again, please join me in supporting his last competitive journey of the season!"
