  • Union County College Corner Joint School District Re-districting Plan

    September 8, 2011

    The Union County College Corner Joint School District Board of School Trustees approved an elementary school re-districting plan during a special meeting on August 1, 2011.  Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year all elementary school students that live east of Base Road will attend College Corner Union School.  All elementary students that live west of Base Road (including those within the Liberty town limits) will attend Liberty Elementary.  Base Road is Highway 27 from Liberty north and from Liberty south Base Road if it were a continuous road would divide the east and west halves of the county almost equally.  Based upon 2010 enrollment data the plan is projected to shift 70-80 students.  more»

    I recently received this email from a Richmond resident.  It makes a powerful statement about the inherent nature of the young men mentioned.  It is refreshing to know that these gentlement have their priorities in order - we ARE proud of them and proud of the manner in which they represent Union County High School.
